Just remember that with lighter electric bikes, you will need to be quite agile to handle the twists and turns when you are out riding.

DYU D3F electric bike

However, if you are quite budget conscious, then let us present you with the DYU D3F electric bike, which is currently on sale, and has been reduced from £549 to £499. This is one of the lighter options, as it weighs just 18kg, and it has a top speed of 15mph, so it may well suit more novice riders.

The DYU D3F has a 240w motor and 14inch tyres. It also has an impressive 28mile electric range and a 37mile range with pedal support, making it a great option for people looking for a cheap electric bike.
